New York City born and raised, Maia Ciarapica is no stranger to constant noise—both the kind that fills crowded streets and the kind that fuels a restless creative mind. Her sound draws from an eclectic spectrum of influences, ranging from the grit of 90s grunge to the intimacy of classic folk, resulting in music that feels raw, textured, and deeply human. Ciarapica approaches songwriting as a form of storytelling, crafting narratives that are vulnerable, fierce, and unfiltered. Now based in Boston while studying at Berklee College of Music, she continues to evolve as both an artist and a person. Ciarapica pushes herself to explore beyond the familiar. She remains a dedicated student of her craft—constantly refining her voice, expanding her palette, and discovering new corners of her sound every day. She also publishes weekly articles on her publication Talking Secret.
